In this week’s interview with Al Olivetti of OnOn Tri, we discuss the simplicity of giving clients what they want. Al talks about the importance of listening to clients to find out what they really want.

In the past, I tried to sell my clients what I wanted to sell them instead of taking the time to listen to their wants, evaluating their needs,  and delivering these things to them.  After a lot of failure doing this, I realized was pushing my wants towards the client over what they wanted.  In contrast, Al is a great example of a of a business owner who listens to his clients and giving them not only what they want but, most importantly, what they need.

Several inspirational leaders promote the “Find out what they want, go and get it, and give it to them” philosophy. One is Frank Kern, one of the top internet marketers of all time. Frank advocates building a list of ideal clients, figuring out what they want (prior to building the list), and giving it to them. If you can subscribe to Frank’s list, I would strongly recommend it. His lessons have helped me average a 42% open rate with 50% click through for my clients email campaigns.

In addition, Mike Keonigs is one of the top online product developers in the world with millions of dollars sales under his belt and an awesome goal of making one million millionaires. He truly has helped thousands of people become millionaires through the strategies and products he has developed.

Al Olivetti has built a successful niche business with a loyal following by tailoring his business to meet his clients’ needs.  His example is one we can all learn from as we seek to better serve our clients.
